Elopement and micro-wedding photography on the Emerald Coast and 30A
Pax Pictura photographs elopements and micro-weddings on the Emerald Coast and along 30A, and in other Gulf Coast towns when we confirm the trip. A small guest list can still be a full day for the people in it. We treat it that way: calm direction, an honest edit, and a gallery you can keep.
You might be two people and an officiant. You might be a handful of family on a beach. Either one can be booked. Tell us who is coming and where you want to stand.
What we mean by elopement and micro-wedding
On the booking page the session is called Elopement, and it is three hours. Couples use it for a small ceremony, a few portraits, and a little time that is not rushed. Micro-wedding, in ordinary speech, means the same kind of day: a short guest list and a plan that fits in a few hours.
Wedding Day is six hours when you want a longer stretch. Ceremony is two hours when the gathering itself is short, such as a courthouse or a chapel service. If you are unsure, send the date and the place and we will recommend one session in writing. Prices for all three live on the booking page, not on this page.
Emerald Coast, 30A, and the towns nearby
People marry on the Emerald Coast in a lot of different settings. Some choose a stretch of 30A. Some choose Destin, Pensacola, Gulf Breeze or Navarre. Some choose a courtyard, a rental house porch, or a patch of sand with a simple arch.
Name the spot when you request the date. We confirm in writing whether we can be there and whether any travel cost applies. A pretty place that we have not confirmed is not a booking. Pax Pictura LLC meets you at the location in the confirmation.
If your plan uses two spots, such as a porch for vows and a beach for portraits, say so. We will tell you whether both fit inside three hours.
How the three hours are spent
We start with the ceremony, or with portraits, depending on the light and the officiant's time. We will tell you where to stand. You do not have to perform. If you want a parent in the frame, or a child, we will leave room for them.
We do not add staged scenes that were not part of your day. Wind, bright sun and a sudden cloud are normal here. If you have shade or a covered backup, tell us. If you do not, we will work with what the hour gives us.
A short list of names helps when several people matter to you. We keep the list with us and return to it before the three hours end.
Before you book
Request the date on the booking page. Nothing is charged when you request a session. We confirm your booking in writing before the date. The note names the session, the place, and the time.
You can reschedule at no charge with at least 30 days' notice for Wedding Day, Ceremony and Elopement sessions. Send the new date as soon as you know it.
Tell us if the guest list might grow. Three hours still has a limit. If the plan becomes a longer party, Wedding Day may be the session that fits. We would rather say that early than discover it on the day.
The gallery and your license
We aim to deliver the edited online gallery through ShootProof within 6 weeks (usually 3 to 6) for weddings and 3 weeks for other sessions. We choose and edit the final images in a consistent natural style. Unedited files are not included. You will get an email when the gallery is ready, and you can view and download from there.
You receive a personal-use license. You may print the photos, share them, and post them. We may use the photographs in our portfolio unless you opt out in writing. Say so in a reply if you want the photos kept private from the portfolio.
Prints can be ordered from the gallery later. You do not have to order anything to receive the photos.
A simple day is still a real request
Elopements fail in the planning when nobody names the place, the time, or the length. Those three facts are enough for us to answer. We do not need a theme, a color story, or a shot list written like a script. If you have a reading or a vow you hope is photographed, mention it. If you do not, we will follow the ceremony as it happens.
Out-of-town guests often remember the portraits more than the schedule. Leave a few minutes inside the three hours for the people who traveled. We will help you place them so the portrait is calm, not a scramble at the end.
