Session Bookings

These terms apply when you book a photography session with Pax Pictura LLC through our booking page. Your contract is with Pax Pictura LLC.

How booking works. Booking online sends us a request. It doesn't reserve your date, and nothing is charged when you book. Your session is reserved only when you receive our written booking confirmation from Pax Pictura LLC. Any retainer, payment schedule or package details are set out in that confirmation. If we send you a written agreement for your session, that agreement controls where it differs from these terms. The session prices shown on our booking page when you book apply. Travel outside the Gulf Breeze, Florida area is quoted in writing before your date and is only charged if you agree to it. You're responsible for any venue permission or photography fee your location requires.

Rescheduling and cancelling. Before your date is confirmed, you can change or withdraw your request at any time. After it's confirmed, you can reschedule at no charge with at least 30 days' notice for Wedding Day, Ceremony and Elopement coverage, and at least 7 days' notice for all other sessions. With shorter notice, we'll work with you on a new date, but it depends on our availability. If you've paid anything and cancel with that notice, or we can't find a new date, we'll refund what you paid for coverage we didn't provide.

If the session can't go ahead. If weather, illness, a venue closure or another event outside anyone's control prevents the session, we'll reschedule to a date that works for both of us. If we can't agree on a new date, or if Pax Pictura LLC has to cancel, we'll refund anything you've paid for that session.

Delivery. We aim to deliver your edited gallery online through ShootProof within 6 weeks (usually 3 to 6) for weddings and within 3 weeks for all other sessions. We choose and edit the final images in our own style. Unedited files aren't included.

Use of your photos. Pax Pictura LLC keeps the copyright in all images. You receive a license for personal use, which lets you print, share and post your photos. Commercial use needs our written permission, except headshots for your own professional profiles. We may use images from your session in our portfolio, on our website and in our marketing. If you'd prefer we didn't, tell us in writing before your session, and we'll honor it. We won't use images of anyone under 18 in paid advertising or sponsored posts, and we never publish a child's last name, school or location.

Limit of liability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a session is limited to the amount you paid for that session. If images are lost or can't be delivered because of equipment failure, file corruption or another cause, your remedy is a refund of what you paid for the affected coverage. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Governing law. Florida law applies. Venue is the courts serving Santa Rosa County, Florida.
