Professional headshots for individuals and teams

Pax Pictura photographs professional headshots for one person and for teams on the Gulf Coast. Headshots Solo is one hour. Headshots Team is for a group of at least three people, with a rate per person. The figures are on the booking page. This page explains how the session works.

A headshot here is a straightforward portrait you can use on a profile, a team page, or a website. We direct you, we edit the images ourselves, and we deliver a gallery online.

Solo or team

Headshots Solo is one hour for one person. Use it when you need a current portrait and you want time to settle, adjust a collar, and make more than one expression without a line of coworkers waiting.

Headshots Team is for groups of at least three. Each person is photographed so the set looks consistent: similar light, similar crop, similar edit. Tell us how many people are coming when you request the date. If the group is two people, write to us and we will say whether two Solo sessions fit better.

The booking page lists both sessions. Choose the one that matches the group, or email info@paxpictura.com and we will point you to the right line.

Where we photograph

We work in Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Navarre, Destin, and other Gulf Coast locations we confirm. An office, a quiet outdoor wall, or a simple indoor corner can all work. Name the place when you request the time. We confirm in writing whether we can be there and whether any travel cost applies.

Pax Pictura LLC meets you at the location in the confirmation. If your team is split across more than one place, say so. We will tell you whether one location is the practical choice for a consistent set.

Shade or a plain wall is usually kinder than full sun. If your office has a conference room with a window, mention it. If you would rather step outside, mention that too.

What to wear and what to bring

Wear what you want the portrait to show. A team that needs to match can agree on a simple rule, such as a shirt color you already own. A team that does not need to match should still avoid a last-minute costume. Bring the jacket or the glasses you actually use if they belong in the portrait.

We will tell you where to stand, how to angle your shoulders, and where to look. You do not have to perform. A calm face photographs more honestly than a pose you hold too hard.

If your workplace has a backdrop it insists on, tell us before the day. If it does not, we will choose a clean background and keep it the same for everyone in a team set.

Names and spellings help when the gallery should be labeled. Send them with the request, or bring a list. We will follow the spellings you give us.

How the time is used

For a solo hour, we make a range of frames and then narrow them in the edit. You do not take home every frame. We choose the final images in a consistent natural style. Unedited files are not included.

For a team, we set the light once and move people through it. The point is a set that belongs together. Tell us if someone can only stay for part of the booking, and we will order the group around that person.

Children and extra coworkers who are not part of the booked count should be named ahead of time. We would rather adjust the plan in writing than surprise the schedule on site.

The gallery and how you may use it

We aim to deliver the edited online gallery through ShootProof within 6 weeks (usually 3 to 6) for weddings and 3 weeks for other sessions. Headshots follow the three-week aim. You will get an email when the gallery is ready. You can view and download from there.

You receive a personal-use license. You may print the photos, share them, and post them, including on a profile or a team page. We may use the photographs in our portfolio unless you opt out in writing. Teams that need the portraits kept off our portfolio should say so in writing. We will follow that.

Prints can be ordered from the gallery if you want a paper copy. Ordering is optional.

Booking and changes

Request the session on the booking page. Nothing is charged when you request a session. We confirm your booking in writing before the date. You can reschedule at no charge with at least 7 days' notice for sessions other than Wedding Day, Ceremony and Elopement.

If a team member joins late or drops out, email us. The team session has a minimum of three people. We will tell you what still fits.
