Wedding photographer for Pensacola, Gulf Breeze and Navarre

Pax Pictura photographs weddings in Pensacola, Gulf Breeze and Navarre, and in other Gulf Coast towns when the place works for both of us. The work is quiet. We tell you where to stand when direction helps, and we step back when the room is already doing what it should.

You can write to us before every detail is settled. A date, a town, and a sense of how long you want us there is enough to start.

Who this page is for

This page is for couples marrying in Pensacola, Gulf Breeze or Navarre, and for families traveling in for the day. It fits a courthouse morning, a chapel, a beach, or a room you have already reserved. If the gathering is in Destin, along the Emerald Coast, or somewhere else on the Gulf Coast, name the place when you request the date.

We confirm in writing whether we can be there and whether any travel cost applies. Pax Pictura LLC meets you at the location we have both confirmed.

How the day is photographed

We keep the tone calm. We will tell you where to stand and what to do, so you are not left to invent a pose while everyone watches. If a moment should stay between the two of you, say so and we will leave it alone.

The photographs are edited in a consistent natural style. We choose the final images ourselves. Unedited files are not included. The gallery you receive is the edit, not a dump of every frame from the day.

Wedding Day, Ceremony, and Elopement

Three sessions cover weddings. Wedding Day is six hours, for a long stretch of the day. Ceremony is two hours, for a courthouse, a chapel, or a short ceremony. Elopement is three hours, for a small guest list.

Each session is listed on its own on the booking page, which is also where the prices live. If you are unsure which length fits, tell us the date and the venue and we will recommend the coverage in writing. A longer guest list does not by itself mean you need the six-hour session, and a small guest list does not by itself mean the three-hour session. The shape of the day matters more than the headcount.

What to tell us before the date

Request the date from the booking page. Nothing is charged when you request a session. We confirm your booking in writing before the date. That note names the session, the place, and the time.

A short note from you helps the day go smoothly. Tell us when the ceremony starts, where people will stand, and whether you want a few portraits of parents or grandparents inside the booked hours. If there are names we should get right, send the spellings. If someone would rather not be photographed, tell us that too.

You can reschedule at no charge with at least 30 days' notice for Wedding Day, Ceremony and Elopement sessions. Write as soon as the new date is real so we can see whether it is open.

During the hours you booked

We are there for the hours of the session you chose. We photograph the ceremony, the people you asked us to watch for, and the parts of the gathering that belong in the story of the day. We do not invent a scene that did not happen.

If you want a few quiet portraits, we will make time for them inside those hours. A simple list on a card is enough. We keep it with us and work through it when the schedule allows.

Weather on this coast changes in an afternoon. If you have a covered backup, tell us where it is. If you do not, we will use the light that is there: shade, a porch, a doorway, or a room indoors. You do not need to rearrange the whole day because a cloud arrived.

After the wedding

We aim to deliver the edited online gallery through ShootProof within 6 weeks (usually 3 to 6) for weddings and 3 weeks for other sessions. Wedding coverage follows the six-week aim. You will get an email when the gallery is ready. From the gallery you can view the photos and download them. If a link does not open, email us and we will send it again.

You receive a personal-use license. You may print the photos, share them, and post them. We may use the photographs in our portfolio unless you opt out in writing. If you want the photos kept off the portfolio, say so in writing and we will follow that.

Prints can be ordered from the gallery when you are ready. Nothing requires you to decide on the day the gallery arrives.

Towns we return to

Pensacola, Gulf Breeze and Navarre are the towns named in this page's title. We also photograph weddings elsewhere on the Gulf Coast when we have confirmed the trip. Beaches, chapels, courthouses and rented rooms are all ordinary settings for us. Tell us which one is yours.

If your people are split between a getting-ready spot and a ceremony spot, say so in the request. We will tell you whether both places fit inside the session you chose.

Request a date
